One buyer, then the lead leaves the shared path
Use it on a priority lead, not on every card

When to Choose Exclusive

Exclusive on InsuranceLeads.co means one buyer. After payment is confirmed, the lead is assigned to you and removed from shared availability. It is not a temporary contact window, and it is not the right purchase for every card in the marketplace.

When exclusive is the better buy

Choose it when the lead fits, your team can respond, and you do not want the other shared seats filled. Skip it when you want more coverage or the exclusive path is not even offered.

Read pricing before you compare the two amounts, or open free test leads if you have not seen the preview yet.

What exclusive means here

On the current product, exclusive is one-buyer ownership. You are not buying a few protected hours and then watching the same lead go back out to shared buyers. After the purchase is confirmed, the lead is assigned to you and it is removed from shared availability.

That path is not on every card. If a shared order or an exclusive order already exists, exclusive closes. The lead page is the place to see whether it is still offered. A bookmark, an old email, or a guess from yesterday is not.

The exclusive amount is higher than shared because you are paying for the lead alone, not for one seat among several. Pricing explains that starting difference. The figure you pay is the one on the lead you open. Do not reuse a number from another card.

When to take it, and when to leave it

Take exclusive when three things are true at once. The masked preview fits a book you can write: the state, the line, and the vehicle or home details. Your desk can call while the inquiry is still fresh. And you specifically do not want other buyers on that person. If any of those is missing, exclusive is an expensive way to buy an ordinary lead.

Stay on shared when you want more cards through the day and other buyers are acceptable. Shared auto leads can go to up to 3 buyers. Shared home leads can go to up to 2. Those caps are on shared lead slots. Stay on the free test if you have not seen the preview format yet.

The rest of the exclusive model, including what happens after a confirmed purchase, is on exclusive insurance leads. The side-by-side product page is shared vs exclusive.

Exclusive or shared on this lead

Choose exclusive

The path is open, the preview fits, the team can respond, and you want the lead removed from shared availability.

Stay with shared

You want coverage, a shared seat is still open, or exclusive is not offered. Auto stops at 3 shared buyers and home stops at 2.

Decide on one lead

  1. Open the masked preview. Confirm state, line, partial contact, and the vehicle line. What that card shows.
  2. See if exclusive is offered. If the path is closed, the decision is made. Buy shared only if a seat remains, or pick another lead.
  3. Read both amounts on that lead. Use pricing for the rules, not a remembered number.
  4. Buy exclusive only for the priority lead. Then work it. The value is the first contact and the fact that the lead left the shared marketplace.

A selective habit, not a default

Buyers who do well with exclusive treat it as a filter. Ordinary flow stays on shared seats. One-buyer access is for the card that matches a priority appointment, a state you are pushing, or a vehicle your carriers want. If this would be the team’s first paid lead at all, start with the first order or with free test leads before you pay for ownership.

After a confirmed exclusive purchase, full contact unlocks on the secure order page, the same way it does for a shared purchase. The difference is distribution. The lead is yours, and it is not returned to the shared path.

Questions buyers ask

Is exclusive a protected contact window?

No. On the current product it is one-buyer ownership. The lead is removed from shared availability after the purchase is confirmed.

Does every lead offer exclusive?

No. Exclusive appears only while that path is still available. An existing order closes it.

Should every order be exclusive?

No. Use shared when other buyers on the same lead are acceptable. Auto shared caps at 3 buyers and home shared caps at 2.

Why does exclusive cost more?

You are paying for the lead alone, not for one seat among several. The pricing page explains the starting difference. The amount you pay is the one on the card.

Can I look before I choose?

Yes. The masked preview is visible first, and free test leads show the format before a paid exclusive order.

Buy exclusive only when the lead should have one owner

Open the marketplace, compare the amount on the card with the pricing page, and use free test leads if you want the format before a one-buyer purchase.
